Q. What three albums are most inspiring to your band?
A: Wildflowers - Tom Petty, '59 Sound - Gaslight Anthem, and Born to Run - Bruce Springsteen
Q. What was the first song that you wrote together?
A: Part of It - from Dreams & Black Caffeine
Q. Can you explain the meaning behind one of the songs on your latest album?
A: Ghost of the Arcade, the title track to our latest album, is about the dangers of nostalgia; it's about focusing on the now rather than the past, the future, or anything other than the present moment.
Q. What is your favorite thing about Asbury Park?
A: The beach! Spending time in the sand, the water, and on the boards. I can't be away from the shore for too long, or I get the jitters.
Q. What is your favorite MOGO taco?
A: Pork all day. Still remember my first bite on the boardwalk in 2013.
Q: Where else are you playing this summer and when?
A: To celebrate our new album, we're playing at the Saint in Asbury Park on June 24, as well as in New Hope, PA on 6/23, and Jersey City Americana Fest on June 25. I'll be solo in NYC on Jul 8 and at Bradley Beach Parkfest on July 10, and then we're heading on tour from July 28 through mid August. Dates and cities to be announced!
