Jarod Clemons is one of the new voices, carrying on this tradition of great music for a modern generation. Clemons' music fuses many different styles, showcasing his talents as a songwriter, who can tackle a variety of genres, while still making it sound unique to him. He has breathed in great music throughout his life and now his sound is fully realized.

What was the first song that you wrote together?*

On The Waves

Can you explain the meaning behind one of the songs on your latest album?*

The song on my solo record called Barley Hangin On. The song holds such a special place in me because I was going through a rough patch in my life when I was writing the rest of this record and to me that song really spoke volumes, expressing my feeling of vulnerability at a time of uncertainty in my life.

What is your favorite thing about Asbury Park?*

My favorite thing about Asbury Park is community and how this community supports each other and lifts each other up in rough times you can’t get that anywhere else in the world.

What is your favorite MOGO Taco?*

My favorite Mogo taco is definitely the shrimp taco. It’s my go to every time. And if I don’t get a taco, I get the soy ginger wings LOL

Where else are you playing this summer and when?*

There is a show in the horizon that I can’t really speak about yet, but those who know, know and it will be announced soon!

A: Used To Know

Q. Can you explain the meaning behind one of the songs on your latest album?

A: For the song “Used To Know” the meaning is meant for the listener to come up with their own ideas and memories when looking at the past at the life they “used to know.” It’s about reflecting on the good things you had in life.

Q. What is your favorite thing about Asbury Park?

A: The Park!

Q. What is your favorite MOGO taco?

A: The toss up is between the chicken or fish taco. We’ll have to investigate further to have the final results.
